Introducing Diva at the Met, Vancouver’s premier dining location combining a unique blend of international styles with a generous dash of Pacific Northwest flavours.

Chef Dang returns to Diva at the Met as Executive Chef, back to the very place he began his culinary journey. Arriving in 2000, Dang apprenticed in Diva for four years, leaving to evolve his culinary makeover at some of Vancouver's finest restaurants. His personal life mirrors his professional one as he comes full circle solidifying his culinary BC upbringing and his Cascadian philosophy. True to that word Cascadian, Chef Dang uses ingredients traceable to their origins. Every ingredient has a path back to his strong relationships with farmers, fishermen and artisans. By exploiting simplicity, he can let flavours speak for themselves, all the while ensuring the pure essence of the ingredient is the star of the dish. His passion and thoughtfulness allows him to match his creations to guests, to the season, to the wine, to the region and to the entire culinary experience.

Special offerings include Diva’s renowned Chef's Table and highly celebrated wine cellar featuring over 500 varieties. Diva also offers decadent desserts, à la carte brunch, pre-theatre menus, fresh seasonal tasting menus and Vancouver’s most extensive selection of cheeses.

For private functions, Diva can cater the elegant function rooms of the Metropolitan Hotel, in addition to offering exclusive off-premise catering services at a variety of venues throughout the city.
